This month has just been the BEST you guys! I am having so much fun in the beautiful weather. This weekend was great and I am so happy I am getting the pictures off of my phone and into this Memory Planner. I am using the Large Flourabunda Ban.do planner as sort of a scrapbook/journal. And the Marquee Alpha stamps from my shop seems perfect to document m celebratory attitude for the week :) I will put a full list of resources for you below :)

I added the cute insert because I wanted to save a cute note on the back that my daughter wrote for my birthday. She asked me not to picture it. I have a video on how to add this type insert to your closed ring planner HERE

I Waited and He Heard My Cry Redeemed by His Grace - Bible Journaling

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.Growing Meadows is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com

Hi Friends,

Today I am journaling Psalm 40:1-3 "I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God"

God can really redeem us and bring us through the pits. That is what I am celebrating in my Journaling Bible today. Friends, God Rocks. He has a radical love for us. He hears us. He leans in and listens to our whispers, or cries of despair and our rejoicing. He sees you right where you are.

I used the Rad Love Stamp Set from my shop [Growing Meadows] with a hero hues ink pad in unicorn, a white uniball gel pen, stickers from Illustrated Faith. along with some Master's Touch Acrylic paints from Hobby Lobby to create this fun page in my Journaling Bible

Our Faithful God Keeps His Promises Deuteronomy 7:9

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations...

Oh I love this verse. There are so many revelations for me in just this one sentence. Today I decided to journal this page in my Bible and meditate on the Faithfulness of God.

Friends, everything that God promised, everything He said will happen has or will happen. Our God is a Faithful. What does that mean? He is faithful because he is faithful. "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God" He is God, y'all! He is Faithul because He is Faithful. God Cannot change his nature. He cannot deny Himself.

Titus 1:2
in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began

He loves us with an unconditional love. He cannot help but love us, his children. Joint heirs with His only Son. And because he loves us, He is Faithful. Nothing cannot separate us from His love.

Romans 8:31-39
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,

“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I pray you have are walking in the steadfast love of our Lord today. I pray that you will proclaim the truth that God will be faithful to fulfill His promises to you!

Proverbs 22:9
Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.

Today I want to share this adorable page in my Journaling Bible. You can totally do a page like this with little time and a few basic supplies

I started with a journaling card. I apologize because I am unsure the manufacturer of this card. These cards are wonderful. You can use project life cards or any number of cards available. I picked the card from my stash and then added these cute stamps from my shop. I used some pearlescent watercolors to add a few splatters to the page, woodgrain washi tape to attach the card and a few leaf stamps as well. TA-DA page complete! Be sure to let me know if you give it a try!

This is the Day That the Lord Has Made Let us Rejoice and be Glad

Psalm 118:24

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Hi Friends,

I am sure this is a verse we are all familiar with. And a Sunday School song most of us remember, but when this came up in my reading today it really resonated.

Sometimes the junk in life catches up to me. Sometimes I don't get enough sleep, I lose patience too easily, and I just know deep down that no matter how many things I may have accomplished in the day it wasn't enough. But, friends, this is THE DAY! It's not just the day that the house isn't clean, or the day dinner came from the microwave. It's not just the day the laundry is piled up and there are crumbs under the table...I gotta get a dog... This is the day that the Lord has made! At the end of the day It doesn't matter what I did or did not do. I have the privilege of rejoicing that God gave it to me. I have the opportunity to just BE glad in Him. Today I choose rejoicing.

We are called to God-Sized Adventure

Luke 5:1-11

On one occasion, while the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret,  and he saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon's, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat. And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”  And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”  And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking.  They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”  For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken, and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.” And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.

Friends, what joy is ours when we obey the Master? When we drop our nets, not because it makes sense, but just because He asked us? When we are focused on our relationship with God and paying attention to what He asks us to do we are not only blessed beyond measure but we can catch people for the kingdom of God. Peter didn't argue with Jesus. Even though he was tired, frustrated, and hungry he believed and obeyed just because Jesus asked.

Jesus is standing at the door asking for us, too. Let's live out our God-Sized adventure and let down our nets!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Bible Journaling Counting my Blessings

Hi Friends! In my devotional reading this week I ran across this verse:

1 Thessalonians 5:18
give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I took some time to stop and think about my life. The last 6 months have been a completely new world for me. I started thinking about all the amazing things that have happened to me. The countless ways God has showed up. He has given me some amazing mentors, more time with and for my family, a new business and a renewed relationship with Him. My cup is truly running over. I have just ugly cried with my arms raised high in praise for His mighty provision.

This is truly a season of Thanksgiving for me and I insist on pausing everyday, every hour to thank my God for His goodness.

I wanted to celebrate my gratitude in my Journaling Bible So I created this page using the Doxology Stamp set from my shop. I will add a full list of resources for you below.

I know that some of you may be going through a darker time and I want to tell you, friends, that He is still there. He sees you where you are. You are being held. You are loved. Don't give up. Praise Him in your RIGHT NOW for who He is. Praise God from whom all Blessing Flow!

Memory Monday - October?

Hi!!!

Did y'all notice that last week October happened? It totally snuck up on me. One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is hang out in my Memory Planner. It gives me a chance to reflect on the previous week, do some journaling and of course scratch the creative itch. I finished filling in my October month layout and decorated and journaled the weeks events.

There are so many fun things in the works for my family this month. I am super excited to be doing my first workshop at the end of the month!

I love using my stamps in my planner, too! On this page I have used the Praise Him Stamp Set and the Rad Love Stamp Set from my shop. On the October Month layout I used the Marquee Alpha and Marquee Shape Stamp Sets. I think they worked perfectly to show my excitement about my upcoming workshop! I used the cute critters from the Doxology Stamp Set to add to some extra cute!

Pray Bold Prayers

Hello Friends!

Are you all using the First 5 App? You should totally check it out. It has been so helpful for me to begin my day with the Lord before I even get out of bed! The app is by Proverbs 31 Ministries and the writing is WONDERFUL! I have learned so much in such a short period of time.

Today's reading about Praying Bold Prayers is no different. A few weeks ago the Worship Leader at our church talked to us about "the law of first mention" - that is the first time a word or idea is presented in scripture. He taught us that this is always something to take note of. So today on the First 5 app Whitney Capps mentions that in Genesis 24:14 is the first recorded prayer for guidance in the Bible so I sat up and paid attention to what she had to say!

Friends, Just like the servant we can be bold in our prayer requests! Come before the King of Kings with your specific requests. He cares so much about us and only wants us to come to Him with our whole selves! Praise the Lord!

Of course I wanted to capture this in my Journaling Bible. I scraped on some acrylic paints and added some details, stickers and the Marquee Alpha Stamps from my shop. I will post a list of resources for you at the bottom of this post. Have a super blessed day!
