All the Promises of God Find their YES in Him AMEN!

Well friends, we made it to the weekend!! And tomorrow??? August!! WOW! The summer is flying by! I had so very much fun finding the perfect items to add to this new kit in the shop! I created this Traveler's Bible Journaling Kit specifically to be able to grab and go!

This tiny Bible is so perfect! It is a hard cover New Testament about 6.8" tall but the BEST PART!!! EVERY SINGLE right hand page is completely blank!! WOOOOTT!! Color all you like and don't cover any text!

Here is the complete Traveler's Bible Journaling Kit. It comes with washi samples, alpha stickers, a tiny travel watercolor set and this super cool little Noteworthy Bible. I finished it off by adding everything to a canvas and sequin wristlet. You are going to love it!

I just had to break open this little Bible and try it out for myself today! I made this page using items in the Traveler's Bible Journaling Kit and stamps from the Praise Him stamp set in my shop. Rainbows = God's Promise. I am so happy with how this turned out.

Here are the stamps:

Thanks for reading! I'm so excited!!

Psalm 127:3-5

Happy Monday Friends! I hope your week is off with a bang! I have been working, again, in my Faith Journal. Psalm 127 is one of my favorite chapters and this verse came to mind today while my *cough*sweet*cough* children were driving me a little crazy, refusing to stop arguing and ignoring my requests being adorable.

I am new to being a SAHM, rather a WAHM which also has it's own set of challenges. I am working constantly to be intentional with our time together and I am ALWAYS grateful for this opportunity. My big kid will be 10 this year and this is the first chance I have had in his life to be home with them. I am so very blessed to have these two babies. So, instead of freaking out in mom fashion, I pulled out this adorable picture of them from long ago and journaled through my frustrations. I know that my prayers for my children will follow them throughout their entire lives and the lives of generations to come so I focused on them. Oh I love these kiddos!

The God Sized Adventure stamp set from my shop came in super handy with today's verse. I added some paints and washi tape to finish it off!

All the People said Amen and Praised the Lord!

Hi Friends,

I encourage you to read I Chronicles chapter 16 today. David's amazing song of praise to the Living God. The God who keeps covenants, the one who saves. The one who is holy.

this stamp is available here.
He is our God, too. How holy is his name? I am in praise mode today. Praising God for his great blessings and His mighty hand at work in my life right now. Praising God for all of you. It is such a blessing to know that I have supports from all over the globe on my little corner of the internet. I want to extend a heart-felt THANK YOU to each person who takes the time to like a picture, read a blog post or just smiled as they scrolled past something I have uploaded.

Today I wanted to share another entry in my Praise Journal. I used the Praise Him stamp set from my shop to help add some cuteness :) Then I added some cute washi tape and used Tombow Dual Brush Pens for some fun color. I always use my favorite Staz on Jet Black ink to stamp. My praise journal is resting in my Taidori, a fauxdori which is also available in my shop

Here is the Journal I use as a Praise Journal. You can get them here

Sarah and Isaac

Hello!
Our church is doing a sermon series on old testament characters. We have been enjoying Lay Speakers give a short introduction to each character and a practical application followed by a message from the pastor. I have been thinking a lot about Sarah and her wait for God to fulfill his promise to her. She didn't always wait patiently. She didn't always make good choices but God was still faithful to follow through and gave her a son in her old age.

The Bible says God gave her a son and made her laugh and all who heard what happened would laugh over her. So she named him Isaac - meaning laughter. (Genesis 21:1-7)

I am a mom to a little boy, 9 years old. Sometimes I wonder if all little boys should be named Isaac because, boy! They are hilarious! Well, sometimes they are hilarious and all the time they think they are hilarious.

I decided to illustrate this in my Bible. I used the stamps in the Proverbs 31 stamp set from my shop to make the cute tag. I embossed the image using VersaMark Watermark Ink and Liquid Platinum Ranger Embossing Powder There was actually a method to my madness with this page. I wanted to use a watercolor rainbow to remind me that God is faithful to fulfill promises and I wanted to put the stamps on the gift tag to remind me of the gift of Motherhood. It is just so very special.

He Made the Stars Also

Genesis 1:16

And God made two great lights;
the greater light to rule the day,
and the lesser light to rule the night:
he made the stars also

I just love, love, love this simple phrase in Genesis "He made the stars also" Did you know that just in the Milky Way Galaxy alone there are over 100 billion stars? If you read this verse too quickly it might seem as though the amazing twinkling lights we all enjoy are an after thought for God. But I have read the Bible, and I don't think that is in God's nature. We serve a very intentional God. I believe he crafted each star by hand and with purpose. All of His amazing creation balances together and shows His great love for us.

I made this fun entry in my Faith Art Journal using Neocolor II Paints. It is resting in my own Taidori Traveler's Notebook from my shop. The stars are from my brand new set of Christmas Stamps also in the shop. The stars are outlined using Gelly Roll Stardust Pens for just a little shimmer and the stars are stamped with Jet Black Staz on Ink.

When I designed these stamps I wanted them to be perfect for Christmas but I also wanted to be sure that many of the images had multiple applications outside a Christmas theme. I simply love the little stars on the pages!

Journaling The Circle Maker in my Journaling Bible

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.Growing Meadows is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com

It's Monday and you got this! We had a super fun weekend and I hope you did, too. After our Sunday School class this week I had to get out my Neocolor II paints and get this into my Journaling Bible!

Our Sunday School small group is studying The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson. Have you read the book? I can tell you this is a game changer in my prayer life. In the book and video series we are using Mark says we cannot just pray like Elijah, We have to act like Elijah.

I Kings 18:41-46
And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink, for there is a sound of the rushing of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Mount Carmel. And he bowed himself down on the earth and put his face between his knees. And he said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” And he went up and looked and said, “There is nothing.” And he said, “Go again,” seven times. And at the seventh time he said, “Behold, a little cloud like a man's hand is rising from the sea.” And he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.’” And in a little while the heavens grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah, and he gathered up his garment and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

Mark points out that Elijah prayed, then acted (sent his servant to look for rain) - 7 times. Mark calls Elijah's actions a "Sanctified Expectation". Let's pray with EXPECTATION that God is going to answer our prayer. Let's take a step of faith after our prayer and let's NOT give up one prayer too short. March circles around your prayers and God-given promises and don't give up on God!
