Bible Journaling John the Baptist - Prepare Him Room Luke 1:67-80

Do you guys get the tingles when you read about John the Baptist? How cool was this guy?? I mean, from the womb John knew that his purpose was to tell everyone to get ready for Jesus. Jesus was coming - IN THE FLESH!! Y'all, John BAPTIZED the LIVING GOD

Luke 1:76-79
And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High;
for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
to give knowledge of salvation to his people
in the forgiveness of their sins,
because of the tender mercy of our God,
whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Did you read the bold section? Verses 76 and 77? This was John's God-given purpose. You know the best part? Everything John proclaimed about the Savior was TRUE. And because it is true, John's purpose is now OUR purpose. We are called by Jesus himself to go into the world and give the knowledge of salvation. Let's be like John and "Prepare Him Room". We must proclaim that Jesus gives grace and mercy and forgiveness and love. Jesus saves. Let's not keep it to ourselves!! Get your mission on!

I am including a list of resources here in case you want to try this page in your Bible. You can also find a process video on my youtube channel that will show you how to achieve this type of watercolor background. The video is HERE.
