I want to dwell on His Holy Hill

Hi Friends,

We took the kids on a quick get away and I want to tell you it is just what we needed! It is my first summer home with the kids and you can imagine trying to start a business and adjust to being a work at home mom has been ... weird? HAHA! I have always worked outside the home. I have been putting in long hours everyday, writing and reading as much as I can to get my etsy store up and running.  We had a wonderful time bonding and playing together.

One of the chapters I was studying on our trip was Psalm 15.

Psalm 15
O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent?
Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right
and speaks truth in his heart;
who does not slander with his tongue
and does no evil to his neighbor,
nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
in whose eyes a vile person is despised,
but who honors those who fear the Lord;
who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
who does not put out his money at interest
and does not take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.

To me this chapter is all about integrity. It teaches me to be the type of person that God wants to invite to dwell with Him on his Holy Hill. It reminds me not to lie or be judgy and not to be hurtful. I think it is a chapter I will continue to study for some weeks. My prayer is that I will be righteous before God and He will invite me to His sanctuary to dwell with Him!

I used the City on a Hill stamp from the Salt and Light stamp collection in my shop. I just masked off the words "city on a hill" added ink, removed the mask and stamped. Then I finished the page off with some watercolors and journaling. The tab is cut from black card stock and colored in with a  white gelly roll pen . I glued it on with an elmer's glue stick.

Shine for Jesus!!
