Children of Light

1 Thessalonians 5:5
For you are all children of light, children of the day...

I have been thinking a lot lately about my relationship with God and subsequently find myself studying the way He sees me, the way I ought to see myself, and the way that affects my life, my goals and my family.

We all know that no one knows the timing of the coming of the Son of Man. In this Chapter the apostle refers to Christians as "Children of Light". I think what he is saying here is that, as Christians, we need not worry about Christ returning as a thief in the night. That warning is for non believers. As Children of Light we have no need to worry about a thief in the night. We do not live in the night. Darkness cannot hide or escape the light. What a day that will be!!

I used stamps from the Christmas Stamp Set in my shop. I designed these so that many of the stamps in the set can be used for multiple applications, rather than just at Christmas. I also used my favorite paints Caran d'Ache Neocolor II watercolors. I hope you are inspired!!

xoxo,
