Sharing my Journey - Growing my Meadow

I have started, stopped, crumpled notebook pages and prayed over the words to begin sharing my journey on this blog. In a quiet place inside of me these words have been written, and re-written, ideas have come and gone, some to be dismissed, others too quick to even catch. Silent prayers have been spoken, tears have been shed, relationships forged, Star Wars was quoted, souls were searched, and faith continues to be exercised. All in preparation of this upcoming journey.

I am here on my new blog, Growing Meadows, to share my thoughts, pictures, projects and experiences. I am here to write about how these things impact my everyday experiences. How they relate to my life's mission to be a better servant for Christ, a wife, a mother, a friend. Everyday I challenge myself to be a better person than I was yesterday and to do something that will help leave a legacy for my children.

Meadows is the maiden of my Mammaw. She and her sisters have always been an inspiration to me. They probably don't even realize it, but they have inspired me to leave a lasting legacy of love and patience. They taught me that kindness matters, and that God, love and family are the most important things in life. They taught all of this by example and it isn't lost on me. Therefore, the name Growing Meadows is an homage to their life's work. My mission is to Grow my own beautiful Meadow and be inspired everyday.

My loves are my Jesus, my hubby, and my littles. I am digging deeper into the Word of God I heart all things bright and colorful (especially pink), glitter, and pyrex and art journaling. I am a little outside the box - scratch that - I don't even see a box. I enjoy joking and laughing. A lot. I'm on a constant quest to discover organization (even though it is a lost cause). I'm a little weird, ok, a major geek but I hope you will stay and hang out. I think you'll learn to embrace my weirdness. I want to be your internet bestie! I really do! We are going to have so much fun.
